About Arthur Britney

Arthur Britney fled homophobic abuse and discrimination in their country of origin, El Salvador. They made history by setting a legal precedent when they were granted permission to remain in the UK on the grounds of their non-binary gender identity.

Born on October10th 1991, Arthur Britney always shined on different school acts due to their charisma. They joined the University Don Bosco Theatre group which taught them discipline and impregned the love to arts.

On 2017 they moved to the UK to seek safety and after a long asylum claim, they became the first non-binary refugee in the UK. Arthur Britney was displaced to Liverpool, and they fallen in love with the city and their people, getting involved in multiple collaborative events that helped them to gain the confidence to start their journey as a musician and performer.
